Attorney Charles Genisio declares his candidacy for the 40^th Judicial Circuit Court - Division 1 covering Newton and McDonald Counties

Genisio made his announcement this afternoon in Neosho with a host of family, friends and supporters with him.  With the Newton County Judicial Center framed in the background, Genisio said his 30 years of practicing law in every aspect, has prepared him for this position.  As a Circuit Court Judge, his rulings can affect many people. Therefore, it’s important those rulings reflect careful consideration to the facts before him. Genisio pledged to be tough on crime, especially with repeat offenders, while maintaining transparency and fairness at all times.  Genisio said he can stay on the bench for twelve years and pledges to do so as long as Newton/McDonald County voters agree.

The Honorable Judge Greg Stremel is retiring mid-year this year.
